What We Do

Verse Sports develops privately funded sports hubs in partnership with schools, clubs and community organisations.

We bring underused council tennis courts, ageing artificial pitches and hard surface MUGA courts back into use as modern, welcoming places to play. Our focus is small sided 3G football, complemented by padel and multi sport facilities where space and local demand allow, at no cost to the school, club or organisation.

You provide the space. We bring the investment.

Many schools and clubs have the space for better sports facilities, but funding the upgrade and managing it afterwards can be a challenge.

Verse offers a practical partnership. At suitable sites, we fund the agreed improvements and manage community bookings, marketing, maintenance and day to day operations.

Our school partnerships are designed to provide free school use during agreed school hours, with community access in the evenings, at weekends and during holidays. Partners receive an agreed ground rent, revenue share or a combination of both.

Each proposal is built around the site, its existing users and the needs of the local community.

More opportunities to play

We want our hubs to serve a broad mix of people: junior teams looking for training space, friends playing after work, women and girls getting involved in football, and walking football groups staying active together.

Alongside regular pitch hire, our plans include leagues, tournaments, coaching sessions, holiday activities and birthday parties. Where suitable, padel and multi-sport areas give schools and communities even more ways to get active.

More than a pitch. A place to belong.

Built for the long term

A successful sports hub needs ongoing care as well as an initial investment.

Our operating model includes planned maintenance and a dedicated sinking fund for future surface replacement. Online bookings, secure access and booking-controlled floodlights can make facilities easier to use while reducing administration and unnecessary energy use.

We aim to create partnerships that work for the school or club, the people using the facilities and the business sustaining them.

Let’s explore your site

If your school, club or organisation has underused courts or an ageing sports area, we’d like to hear from you.

Together, we can explore its potential and develop a privately funded proposal that gives more people somewhere to play, train and belong.
