Better facilities for pupils.

More opportunities for the community.

100% funded by Verse.

Our Approach

Verse sports help schools and academy trusts transform underused courts and ageing hard standing sports areas and MUGA’s. Our 100% privately funded model combines investment with ongoing management, giving schools a practical way to improve their sport provision and open facilities to the wider community outside of school hours.

Our process is simple and thoughtful.

Verse works with your school to understand your sporting needs and create a bespoke plan for your existing hard surface areas. This could include an AGP multi sport surface for netball, tennis, hockey and cricket, alongside a dedicated 3G pitch designed for football and rugby. We can also offer a padel court in the right circumstances. By combining different surfaces across your available space, we can give pupils access to a wider range of sports and activities tailored to your school.

Easy. Efficient. Effective.

Private investment in your school.

At suitable sites, verse provides the private investment to deliver the agreed improvements.

Free School Use.

Pupils benefit from exclusive access during agreed school hours for PE, school teams and other activities.

Income for your school.

An agreed annual ground rent, share of community booking revenue or a combination of both.

Ongoing care.

Verse manages the agreed maintenance responsibilities and makes provision for future surface replacement through a dedicated sinking fund.

We manage community bookings.

Verse takes care of marketing, bookings, payments and customer enquiries for the facilities we operate.

Secure access systems can restrict visitors to the sports area. Optional booking controlled floodlights can reduce unnecessary energy use and the need for staff to switch lights on and off.

A hub for your local community.

Outside of school hours, the facilities can welcome junior clubs, women’s and girls’ teams, adult players, walking football groups and families.

Training, coaching leagues and holiday activities can strengthen connections between your school, and local organisations, giving more people somewhere to be active.

Explore your school’s facilities.

Whether your school already hires out facilities or is considering community access for the first time, we would like to hear from you.

We can assess your available space and develop a proposal for your leadership team and trust to consider.
